Athens, Greece - 15 April 2014 - IBM will establish a new Big Data and Business Analytics Center of Competence in Athens, Greece. The new center will lead Big Data and Business Analytics client engagements in the region, working closely with IBM’s global network of Business Analytics Centers in Berlin, Beijing, Dallas, London, New York, Tokyo, Washington and Zurich.

Singapore - 14 April 2014 - Alcon officially opened its new ophthalmic pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in the Tuas Biomedical Park in Singapore. Construction on this 330,000 square foot facility began in 2009, and represents an investment of approximately S$200 million. The plant produces ophthalmic pharmaceutical products which address eye conditions such as glaucoma, dry eye, allergies and bacterial infections. Currently, the facility employs approximately 150 associates, and is expected to continue to grow as production increases.

Dublin -14 April 2014 – ENERCON, Europe’s leading supplier for wind energy turbines onshore, has officially opened its new European sales office in Santry, Dublin, Ireland. ENERCON’s Dublin team will have sole responsibility for sales, project management, electrical engineering, logistics coordination and site assessment in Ireland. ENERCON will have 22 people employed at their new office, with future growth expected. This investment is supported by Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation through IDA Ireland.
