Nestlé invests EUR 44 million in Nescafé factory in Girona, Spain

23 May 2013 - Nestlé is investing EUR 44 million on new technology for its Nescafé factory at Girona in north-eastern Spain. The new equipment will deliver greater efficiencies in the production of soluble coffee, while improving the environmental footprint of the factory by significantly reducing water consumption and energy used in the manufacturing process.

Anomaly to Open Office in Shanghai, China

New York and Shanghai - 23 May 2013 - Anomaly has announced that it will open an office in Shanghai to further extend the brand's global footprint. Opening in July, the office will start with a staff of 20 people. 

ABB to Open New Photovoltaic Inverters Production Line in Johannesburg, South Africa

Zurich, Switzerland - 23 May 2013 – ABB plans to open the new inverter production line at its existing facilities in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2014. The line for its PVS800 range of central inverters will have a production capacity of approximately 500 megawatts (MW) a year. It will produce 630 kilowatt (kW), 875 kW and 1,000 kW central inverters. The company already produces solar inverters in Estonia, India and China. 

Cvent Opens Office in London, UK

Cvent has facilitated meeting and event booking in Europe through its Cvent Supplier Network since 2008 and has experienced strong demand in the region. 

Nestlé Expands R&D Centre in Singapore

22 May 2013 - Nestlé has opened a new extension to its research and development centre in Singapore that will allow greater focus on its fastest-growing markets in the Asia-Pacific region. Nestlé has invested almost CHF 4 million (5.5 million Singapore dollars) in the extension, which will create 20 new jobs in 2013.
