Chongqing, China - 19 June 2013 – Ford today officially opened its US$500 million new engine plant in Chongqing at its joint venture in China Changan Ford Automobile (CAF). With an initial capacity of 400,000 units, the new Changan Ford Engine Plant (CAFEP) more than doubles Changan Ford’s engine production capacity of 350,000 units, helping to meet rapidly growing demand for its vehicles in China.

Columbia, S.C. – 19 June 2013 – Lindoerfer + Steiner GmbH, a maker of packaging for automotive suppliers, is establishing its new North American production facility in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. The $400,000 investment is expected to generate 32 new jobs over the next five years.

18 June 2013 - Gérard Ranzato, president of French company AHE, announced at the Paris Air Show – Le Bourget that the company has selected Greater Montréal as its North American base of operations. AHE is a parts distributor stockist for the leading manufacturers in the civil and military aeronautics and space industry. In the next three years, the company will hire approximately 20 employees at its Montréal facilities.
