Mahindra USA to open its fourth American assembly and distribution facility in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania

22 August 2012 - Mahindra USA, the number one selling tractor brand in the world based on volume, is adding its fourth North American assembly and distribution facility in Bloomsburg, PA. The new facility, celebrating its grand opening on August 28, will provide support and service to Mahindra’s northeast United States and eastern Canadian dealers and partners. 

“The opening of this newest distribution center represents our strategic commitment to Mahindra dealers,” said Mani Iyer, President of Mahindra USA. “In a time of industry consolidation, we are actively expanding into new partnerships and growth opportunities to fuel our Rise in North America as one of the premier tractor companies.” 

The Mahindra Northeast Authorized Distribution Center will be operated in partnership with Mahindra dealer, TPC Power Center. The center will have a positive impact on the Bloomsburg and surrounding area’s economy. Mahindra and TPC have converted an empty warehouse on five acres into a fully-functional 40,000 square foot facility that will employ up to 30 people in the operation as it moves into full production. Initially, the facility will assemble 200 Mahindra tractors per month with the capacity to produce 500 per month.
