Logwin Opens New Branch in Bucharest, Romania

Grevenmacher, Luxembourg – 12 September 2012 - The logistics service provider Logwin has enhanced its presence in Eastern Europe: in July the company opened a new branch in the Romanian capital Bucharest. The company is now present in two cities in this EU-member country. Logwin has been operating a branch in the metropolis of Cluj-Napoca since 1994. Logwin employees in Bucharest offer customers numerous services such as national and international transport solutions, warehousing, order picking and value added services as for example labelling of garments. Furthermore, the logistics specialists handle customs clearing and implement cross docking concepts.

The new Logwin location in southern Romania is conveniently located – a plus for national and international land transport. The port city of Constanta on the Black Sea to the east, the metropolis Ploieşti to the north, and the city of Piteşti in the west can all quickly and easily be reached via motorways. Logwin delivers shipments all over Romania within 24 to 48 hours. The employees also organise shop deliveries within given time windows for the retail sector. For both, the national distribution as well as import and export of fashion products, the logistics service provider also offers hanging garments transports for its customers. Logwin regularly sends international truck transports for different sectors from Bucharest to Germany, Austria, Bulgaria and Serbia for example.

The location in Bucharest has more than 1,000 square metres of storage area available for warehousing as well as order picking. Logwin can expand it to 3,000 square metres as needed. In particular customers from the area of retail – especially fashion – and automotive have been taking advantage of the transport and logistics services Logwin offers in Romania so far.
