MCP Opens New Office in Düsseldorf, Germany

12 September 2012 - Software consultancy firm MCP has increased its presence in Germany by opening a new office in Düsseldorf to support local Preactor software users. MCP has bucked the trend of the economic downturn by continuing its expansion across German-speaking countries.

MCP is a Preactor partner for the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), and provides advice and consultancy on the Preactor range of production planning and scheduling software. The Preactor software is used by a wide range of industries including manufacturing, logistics and services.

MCP already has offices in Vienna, Zagreb and Krakow.

The opening of the Düsseldorf office is in response to increasing demand from German customers. There are already a number of firms using Preactor who will benefit from the increased on-the-ground support.

Christian Stiefsohn, CEO of MCP, said the expansion into Germany was a significant development for the company. “Germany offers a lot of market opportunities and we see the necessity to service the market locally,” he said.

“As with firms in the rest of Europe, the financial crisis has had a significant impact on manufacturing companies in Germany. Increasingly they are looking for solutions that will help them manage their production in a more agile and efficient way, even when demand varies from week to week.

“There is also a demand to see a fast return on investment. This is why we’re seeing such interest currently from firms wanting to install Preactor scheduling software, to help their business survive and even thrive during the economic downturn.”

MCP forms part of UK-based Preactor International’s global network, consisting of more than 400 partners providing local, expert advice and support to businesses using Preactor in 75 countries. They are a key part of the firm’s business model, being the main route to market for the Preactor software products around the world.
