Zendesk Establishes Development Center in Victoria, Australia; Adds 20 New Jobs

27 September 2012 - Emerging cloud technology company Zendesk has established an Australian Development Centre, paving the way for 20 new highly skilled development jobs. Today’s announcement builds on the establishment of Zendesk’s Asia-Pacific headquarters in Victoria in September 2011.

Zendesk’s growth in Victoria through the opening of the development centre builds the state’s growing capabilities in ‘the cloud and it is hoped that the centre will be a hub for the development of cloud technologies.

Zendesk Asia-Pacific vice president and managing director Michael Folmer Hansen said that they were thrilled with the response and speed at which organisations are implementing Zendesk, not only in Australia and New Zealand but the wider Asia-Pacific region.

“More organisations are beginning to understand the value of providing excellent customer service around the clock and for fast growing businesses, our solution scales quickly and easily.

“This development centre will enable us to further support our customers locally and incorporate their valuable feedback into future product development.”

Zendesk is a global provider of cloud-based customer service software. This new development centre will house some of Australia’s most talented software developers who will work in collaboration with colleagues in the United States.
