Leonardo & Co. Opens New office in Stockholm, Sweden

10 October 2012 - Leonardo & Co., one of the leading independent advisory firms in Europe focusing on independent advice in Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Equity, Debt Financing and Restructuring, continues to expand its activities in Europe. Its new office in Stockholm has now commenced activities and Leonardo & Co. will seek to intensify and further expand its business with clients in the Nordic region. 

Berent A. Wallendahl, board member of Leonardo & Co. and head of Leonardo’s business in Germany, will be Chairman of the Nordic business. He has a long experience of the Nordic market including from previous positions at Dresdner Kleinwort and Goldman Sachs. 

Martin Pellbäck recently joined Leonardo & Co. as CEO of its Nordic business. Martin was formerly head of Nordic corporate finance at RBS and previously held similar positions at Credit Suisse and UBS. He joined together with a team of five professionals including Nuutti Niinistö and Andreas Pay from RBS and Daniel Robberts from Macquarie. 

The latest Nordic transaction for Leonardo & Co. was advising First State Investments on its pending acquisition of Digita Oy, Finland’s leading provider of broadcast tower infrastructure.
