London-based Face opens new offices in Hong Kong and Singapore

16 October 2012 – Co-creation agency Face is opening two new offices in Hong Kong and Singapore. Following steadily increasing work across India and Asia-Pacific, it is opening these offices in both cities in order to continue servicing our growing client base in this region.

Daniel Tompsett, previously Commercial Director for the UK and U.S, is moving to Hong Kong and taking on the role of Global Commercial Director. Daniel will be responsible for recruiting and growing the new teams in both Hong Kong and Singapore, while continuing to support its global client base and building on the expanding commercial opportunities in the region.

Daniel comments: “I am very excited about this new opportunity for both Face and myself to drive our growth in the Asia-Pacific region. We will be looking at quickly establishing a world-class team focused on using a mix of real-time data, qualitative research and smart thinking to deliver social intelligence for brands. The team will consist of a mix of experienced researchers, co-creation consultants, community managers, social media analysts and technologists.”

Andrew Needham, founding partner and CEO of Face, says, “Moving into the Asia-Pacific markets is a crucial part of the Face growth strategy. We have found our skill-sets and strategic insights increasingly in demand in China, Indonesia and India by global clients because we bring something different to the traditional focus group approach to qualitative research. Therefore, setting up offices in Hong Kong and Singapore is a natural first step in order to be closer to our clients’ local markets. I am delighted that Daniel Tompsett, with a successful commercial background, has agreed to set up and lead the offices and grow the Asia-Pacific operations. Daniel has a long background in social media intelligence and research, working with clients such as Reckitt Benckiser, Coca-Cola, Danone and Google.”
