OPAL-RT Opens New Technical Center in Beijing, China

Montreal, Quebec – 15 October 2012 - OPAL-RT Technologies, leading manufacturer of real-time simulators for electrical, mechanical and power electronic systems, today announced that the company has opened a new technical center to meet the needs of OPAL-RT’s users in the Asia-Pacific region. 

The new technical center will be based in Beijing, China, and led by Weihua Wang MScE who has been with OPAL-RT since 2008 and was until recently electrical simulation specialist at OPAL-RT headquarters in Montreal, Canada. One of the center key objectives is to provide a technical presence for the fast growing number of users located in this region. The Center will work in collaboration with KeLiang Information Technology and Engineering Ltd., in China, CST - Cybernet Systems in Taiwan, Neat Company, Ltd. in Japan, Shinho Systems Co. Ltd. in Korea, as well as TME Systems Pte Ltd. in Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei.
