Logwin expands in China with new sales offices in Wuhan and Zhogshan

- Logwin now operates three locations in Central China
- City of Zhongshan situated in industrial heart of southern China

Grevenmacher, Luxembourg – 21 November 2012 - The international logistics service provider Logwin is continuing to expand its network of locations in China. In the last few months the company has opened new sales offices in the industrial city of Wuhan in Central China as well as in Zhongshan in the south of the country. It established its own office in Fuzhou in southern China back in the summer.

With its new sales office in Wuhan, Logwin now operates three locations in Central China – the company is also represented in Chongqing and Chengdu. The metropolis of Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, is the fourth largest city in China. It is where many production companies from a large number of industries have their headquarters, for example from the fields of engine construction, shipbuilding, automotive and mechanical engineering or the textile, chemicals and biotechnology sectors.

Logwin offers its customers in Wuhan a complete range of air and sea freight services including all customs formalities. The logistics service provider implements reliable transportation solutions in particular for companies in the automotive, shipbuilding and mechanical engineering fields as well as for those in the retail and consumer goods industries.

The city of Zhongshan is situated in Guangdong province, the industrial heart of southern China. Logwin’s new office strengthens its presence in this dynamic economic region. From the new location the logistics specialist organises international transportation by air freight and sea freight including customs clearance for its customers. The main beneficiaries of these solutions are companies from important manufacturing sectors in the region such as the LED lighting industry, electrical and household appliance manufacturers and companies in the textile industry.

Logwin has thus established a logistical network in the southern Chinese province of Guangdong – the logistics service provider had already opened offices in nearby Dongguan and Foshan at the end of 2011. In addition, Logwin has been operating its own locations in Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong for a number of years. Several sea ports and airports in the region guarantee excellent transportation connections for domestic and international shipments.

Logwin opened its first location on the Asian continent in Hong Kong in 1972. Today, the logistics service provider operates a total of 28 offices in China, employing more than 460 people.

Logwin is an international logistics service provider based in Grevenmacher, Luxembourg. It has around 250 locations in 40 countries worldwide.
