Global Aerospace Opens New Office in Cologne, Germany

- Joerg Jakobs to lead the new branch office in Cologne
- To develop business throughout northern and eastern Europe

London, UK - 4 January 2013 - Global Aerospace announced that Joerg Jakobs is joining the organization effective 1st January 2013 to lead a new branch office in Cologne, Germany. Joerg’s brief is to develop business throughout northern and eastern Europe working closely with our established underwriting and claims teams around the Group.

Joerg brings over 25 years of experience in both underwriting and broking and joins Global from Kairos Consulting, a specialist aviation insurance and reinsurance intermediary he founded in 2003. Nick Brown, Global Aerospace Group Chief Executive commented, “Our German branch complements and strengthens our network in Europe and I am delighted that it will be led by someone of Joerg’s calibre and professional standing.”
