Hakuhodo Consulting Establishes Office in Singapore

- Subsidiary to provide branding and marketing consulting services
- Conduct joint research with several institutes including HCLI

Tokyo – 15 January 2013 - Hakuhodo group consulting firm Hakuhodo Consulting has established its first international office in Singapore. Hakuhodo Consulting Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. begins operations on January 15, 2013. 

Maturity of the domestic market has accelerated the entry of Japanese companies into other Asian markets. Many are establishing regional head offices in Singapore and other Asian countries from which they conduct branding and marketing strategies, human resource management and M&A. This has broadened our clients’ needs to include market entry support, brand and marketing strategies, organization and operation planning and mid-term strategic business planning. 

In view of these needs, Hakuhodo Consulting established Hakuhodo Consulting Asia Pacific, a fully-owned subsidiary, in Singapore, to provide branding and marketing consulting services to clients operating in the region. 

Hakuhodo Consulting Asia Pacific will also conduct joint research with several institutes established by the Singaporean government, including Human Capital Leadership Institute (HCLI) and Institute on Asian Consumer Insight (ACI). By leveraging sei-katsu-sha insight knowledge and branding and marketing expertise accumulated by Hakuhodo, joint research will enable the development of uniquely Asian sei-katsu-sha insights, marketing methods and human resource development techniques matched to Asian cultures, and support the growth of clients’ businesses in the region.
