NFI Opens New Distribution Center in Brampton, Canada

- Nearly 250,000 square feet of warehouse space 
- Facility in Brampton is a food grade and bonded warehouse

Cherry Hill, NJ - 08 January 2013 - NFI, a leading full service supply chain solutions provider, recently announced that its Canadian division, NFI Canada, has expanded with a new distribution center in Brampton, Ontario. With nearly 250,000 square feet, this addition brings NFI’s Warehousing and Distribution footprint to well over 20 million square feet of warehouse space. 

The facility in Brampton is a state-of-the-art food grade and bonded warehouse and is a strategic move to increase NFI’s footprint in North America. “We continue to increase our footprint in Canada and further enhance our cross border capacity and capabilities,” said Sidney Brown, NFI Chief Executive Officer. “NFI Canada provides a vast network of integrated logistics services and supply chain solutions for any tenant of our Brampton location”, he continued. 

Because NFI and NFI Canada are committed to renewable solutions and energy efficiency, the Brampton warehouse is equipped with metal Halide lighting, sky lights and environmentally friendly systems that allow the building to operate more resourcefully. This location also has available value added services including: transportation, warehousing, packaging, fulfillment operations and pick and pack operations.
