Palantir Solutions Opens New Office in Perth, Australia

London - 27 February 2013 – Palantir Solutions has opened its new office in Perth, Australia. Palantir is a leading, global provider of integrated, dynamic planning software and services to the upstream oil and gas industry.

Jason Ambrose, Managing Director, said “Australian operators are already taking advantage of our ability to model integrated LNG projects such as the development of Coal Seam Gas (CSG) in Queensland.  The office in Perth provides an opportunity to be more responsive to Australian based customers who have previously been serviced from Singapore.”

The expansion to Perth endorses Palantir’s continued commitment to international expansion and servicing customers where they work.  Senior Vice President, Kirk Hanes, said “We’ve done very well in Australia and are excited to have this fixed presence for our customers.  Brisbane remains on our short list of next expansion targets.”  Oil and gas companies around the world are already taking advantage of Palantir’s unique blend of knowledge and tool sets to minimise planning cycles while optimising their portfolios.

Palantir was established in 2002 by five partners who shared a vision to improve the business planning process within the upstream oil and gas industry supported by expert industry knowledge.  Today, Palantir is the largest independent, dedicated global provider of integrated economics and planning solutions.  Perth becomes the seventh office, adding to Palantir’s global presence in London, Aberdeen, Calgary, Houston, Singapore and Bangalore.
