Eagle Ottawa Expands Manufacturing Facility in Szolnok, Hungary

Szolnok, Hungary and Auburn Hills, Mich. - 15 May 2013 - Eagle Ottawa is expanding its manufacturing facility in Szolnok, Hungary to meet increasing customer demand. Groundbreaking will take place on June 10, 2013 and the expansion is expected to be complete in October 2013. The facility will increase by 60% in size and the investment will be bringing 150 new jobs to the area.

Established in 2001 as a state-of-the art facility to provide premium leather to automotive manufacturers in Europe, Eagle Ottawa Szolnok will be adding cutting edge roll coating technology to its current equipment. The facility finishes and cuts automotive leather and offers value-add operations such as custom leather perforation, lamination and embroidery, providing automakers the opportunity to further enhance their vehicle brands.
