DKSH Performance Materials opens new innovation center and sales office in China

Zurich, Switzerland - 25 July 2013 – DKSH Business Unit Performance Materials has strengthened its presence in Asia by expanding its infrastructure in China. Recently, a state-of-the-art innovation center in Guangzhou and DKSH’s fifth China sales office in Chengdu were inaugurated.

In response to the continued development within the region, DKSH has opened an innovation center to cater to the personal care industry in South China. Staffed by technical experts, the facility serves the whole South China market and provides a full range of tailor-made services to our business partners in application testing, formulation evaluation and development, quality analysis and more.

During the past few years, Business Unit Performance Materials has significantly optimized its operations in China and has recently opened its fifth China sales office in Chengdu (after Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Guangzhou) as part of its ongoing strategy for growth. From Chengdu, DKSH Performance Materials will cover the growing Western China market to offer clients and customers first class market expansion services as well as a wide range of specialty chemicals and food ingredients to business partners in personal care, pharmaceutical, food and beverage and industrial chemical industries.

The new innovation center in Guangzhou and the sales office in Chengdu will further strengthen DKSH’s market position in China while contributing incrementally to the Group’s overall profitability over time.
