Guidance Software Opens New Office in Munich, Germany

Pasadena, Calif. 08 July 2013 - Guidance Software, Inc. announced the company is broadening the scope of operations across Western Europe to bolster sales, support and training for its analytics, security and e-discovery solutions with in-region offices and a partnership with a major, global distributor. In addition to its operations out of its London office, Guidance Software is now fortifying its presence with a team of business development and product specialists based out of a new office in Munich, Germany.

"As our products have gained market share across Europe, Guidance Software has put in place a dedicated, local team that understands the German market's unique regulatory, data privacy and security needs to best serve our German customers," said Sam Maccherola III, Vice President of Sales for the Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific regions. "This local presence will enable us to work closely with our customers and partners to build effective cybersecurity defenses and manage litigation, compliance and regulatory requirements quickly, while minimizing costs."

Germany is the largest economy and the largest market for IT solutions in Europe. With the new office in Munich, the Guidance Software team will manage business development, sales and channel operations in close proximity to customers and partners.

The local team will also work with global distributor Computerlinks to recruit and support German channel partners. With offices in 19 countries, Computerlinks provides logistics and technical support services to thousands of resellers worldwide.
