Shutterstock Opens European HQ in Berlin, Germany

New York – 31 October 2013 - Shutterstock, Inc., a leading global provider of commercial digital imagery, has opened an office in Berlin, Germany to support expansion efforts in Europe. Located in the Kulturbrauerei in Prenzlauer Berg, Shutterstock's Berlin office establishes the Company's European headquarters, employing product, technology, sales and customer service teams. The office opens with 10 full-time employees, and the company expects to employ more than twenty people by the end of 2014.

Shutterstock serves more than 750,000 customers worldwide, with approximately 30 percent of them based in Europe. The Company also partners with thousands of local photographers and illustrators in the region, and recently opened a sales office in London.
