Sydney - 11 June 2014 - NetComm Wireless Limited today opened its new branch office in Tokyo, Japan, following the recently announced M2M distribution agreement with Kanematsu Communications Limited. The new Tokyo branch will be NetComm Wireless' first sales office in Asia, the largest regional M2M market accounting for 42% of global M2M connections, according to GSMA.
Certified for deployment in Japan, NetComm Wireless' M2M devices facilitate immediate deployment by major telecommunications carriers, system integrators, vertical industry sectors and Japanese multinational companies seeking to expand their M2M operations globally.
Mr Kei Hara has been appointed to lead NetComm Wireless' expansion into the Japanese market and is responsible for supporting new business opportunities in line with the company's M2M strategy. NetComm Wireless' operations will work with leading carriers and export companies in partnership with Kanematsu Communications to meet the surging demand for M2M solutions in areas such as utilities, point of sale, agriculture, logistics, healthcare and other selected verticals.
