Columbia, S.C. – 25 November 2014 - Peak Corporation is establishing its U.S. manufacturing operations in Clarendon County. It is investing $6.6 million over five years resulting in the creation of an expected 59 new jobs in Manning, South Carolina. Founded in 1999 in Foshan, China, Peak Corporation has more than 15 years’ experience in the design, manufacture and global distribution of an extensive line of automotive lifts, including 2-post, 4-post, scissors and portable lifts.

The establishment of a facility in Clarendon County provides Peak Corporation with the opportunity to create a presence in the United States. The 48,000-square-foot building will house the manufacturing and processing of hydraulic products and lifts. These products have exceptional relevance in South Carolina as the Palmetto State is home to a booming automotive industry. Currently, more than 25,000 South Carolinians are employed by motor vehicle parts manufacturers.
