New York, NY - 03 November 2014 – Ubiquity will open a new contact center in Lisbon, Portugal in January 2015. The new site has capacity for more than 200 new employee positions in support of the European, Middle Eastern and African (EMEA) markets. The company is expected to service clients in all major European languages from the site.
“We’re very impressed with the professional talent available in the Portuguese capital city,” said Matt Nyren, Ubiquity’s founder and president. “The multilingual capabilities of Lisbon’s population are well known, and we expect to deliver great service for customers in Western Europe and beyond from our new site.”
Ubiquity plans to commence hiring immediately and begin operations before the end of the calendar year. Ubiquity’s growth in Europe is being complemented by ongoing expansion in the United States, El Salvador and the Philippines.
“Ubiquity was founded just over two years ago, so we’re naturally excited to launch operations in four countries in such a short period of time,” said Ray Iglesias, the company’s chief executive officer. “We know Portugal well and are excited to offer our clients a robust, pan-European delivery solution for a wide variety of servicing needs.”
