Jersey Finance to visit India from 16-20 November 2009

• Jersey Finance announce third visit to India, led by Geoff Cook and Christine Whitfield which will take place later this year, 16th – 20th November and will once again include Mumbai and New Delhi.

OBJECTIVES OF THE VISIT: The objectives of this visit are threefold:-

• We will update key contacts on the latest developments in Jersey and  will take the opportunity to communicate our white list status, reinforcing the value and integrity of the Jersey proposition.
• We will promote the expertise in Jersey’s Finance Industry and its relevance to the Indian market. We will focus on capital structuring for Indian business expansion into Europe and the management of private wealth, with a particular emphasis on Foundations.
• We will further progress key partner relationships with visits planned to the Indian Government and Regulatory authorities, where we hope to explore treaty opportunities and regulatory cooperation and alignment.
